Tragedy....

It would be totally frivolous for me to write about some piece of triteness in my life in the wake of the tragedy in Aurora, Colorado.  As questions emerge regarding the shooters mental capacity and gun laws, let's not forget the 12 people that lost their lives senselessly, as well as those who have been injured, and their families.  Rest in Peace all who have suffered.  xo

Yes.

When law allows purchase of automatic weapons devised for warfare and unlimited purchase of ammunition, then how can you be surprised when some express their feelings with radical results.

Guns are not the problems jodi..if we make every bullet as expensive as a jet fighter then capitalism would solve our murder by insane stupidity rate.

I guess that's why the flags are at half-mast.

The soldiers in Afghanistan who've also been killed recently seem to be mostly neglected in coverage or interest anymore. Too routine for news anymore?

It was a horribly sad tragedy. My son was at a midnight showing of Batman. Life is so precious. My prayers go out to all of those families.

Charles-xo Goatman-I still believe it's people that kill, not guns. More money needs to be spent on mental health programs. Thank you for stopping by! Mark, I concur, Buddy. Erik-The deaths due to war DO seem to fade compared to the sensationalism garnered by some nut job. How very sad. Rosegarden-Amen Sista! Love to you all. xo
